Custom Mouthguard

If you or your child play contact sports, you need to wear a custom mouthguard. Custom-made sports mouthguards conform to the smile and prevent dental injuries or tooth loss. Additionally, wearing a custom mouthguard can also protect braces and other oral appliances.

Emergency Dentistry

Contact our office if you have a dental emergency. We can treat a variety of dental emergencies, from missing permanent teeth to toothaches and broken dental restorations. Our dentists help patients renew the comfort and health of their smiles with prompt care.

Family Dentistry

Our family-friendly dental office treats patients of all ages. We encourage parents to bring their children for their first appointment by their first birthday. Early dental visits help our younger patients get accustomed to the dentist and realize that our office is a safe and friendly place. Our team provides dental treatments for patients in every stage in life, from sealants for younger patients to restorations as patients grow older.

Laser Dentistry

Dental lasers are an important dental tool that we use to treat the soft tissues of the mouth. Lasers use heat and light wavelengths to cut the gum tissue. We can remove excess or infected tissue with a precise laser. Dental lasers do not require sutures, drilling, or sedation and allow our team to treat the gum tissue painlessly.

Dental Sedation

Our dental office offers nitrous oxide, or laughing gas, for patients during complex or lengthy procedures. This method of dental sedation is safe for children and adults. We monitor patients under sedation to ensure they have comfortable and painless dental care.

Tooth Extraction

We use local anesthetic and dental sedation for complex extractions and anesthetic for simple extractions. Tooth extractions can prevent the spread of infection and damage to permanent teeth.

Sleep Apnea

Do you find yourself waking up to breathe? Treat sleep apnea symptoms with an oral appliance. We provide custom-made oral appliances that keep the airway open and prevent symptoms like snoring, insomnia, and morning headaches. Oral appliances are alternatives to CPAP machines for patients with mild to moderate sleep apnea.

General Dental FAQs

Do you want to know more about general dental care? Read answers to these popular questions:

What are root canals?

A root canal is a procedure that removes an infection from within a tooth. When harmful bacteria enter a tooth, they infect the nerves, cells, and blood vessels within the tooth. Removing this infected dental pulp can save the tooth. Root canals clean out the inside of the tooth, or tooth chamber, and seals it with a dental filling.

Are dental lasers painful?

Dental lasers are less painful than traditional surgical methods. Because lasers are virtually pain-free, we do not need to use sedation during laser dental treatments. Lasers also do not vibrate like traditional dental drills which can add discomfort during treatment.

Do I need a dental filling or extraction?

We will typically recommend extraction for an infected tooth if patients are in severe pain. Additionally, if the tooth is too far decayed or worn to save, we will recommend dental extraction treatment. If the dental pulp within the tooth is infected but the structure is still there, we can perform a root canal and provide a dental filling.
